Why This Role Is Valuable  

The Associate, Valuations will provide valuation and analytical support and performance reporting for Blackstone, Revantage, and the portfolio companies’ senior management.

How You Add Value

Support Valuation Reviews, Analytics and Performance Reporting Processes

  • Provide portfolio analytics summaries and property-level performance reporting to Blackstone and portfolio company management teams

    • Analyzing investment data in Excel and making detailed inferences or attributions

    • Assessing complex Excel models for opportunities to make efficiency improvements.

    • Leveraging technology to improve efficiency and/or reduce the complexity of excel models

  • Prepare presentations and investment summaries for Blackstone, Revantage, and portfolio company management teams

  • Gather and report on market intelligence including recent sales data and prevailing market conditions

  • Provide management reporting for pertinent financial details and support for assumptions contained in valuation models

  • Support activities related to obtaining external 3rd party asset appraisal values; provide required materials to appraisers and review appraisal outcomes and underlying assumptions

  • Support the valuation model process with Blackstone stakeholders and revise valuation analytics model based on feedback

  • Coordinate with and support the Blackstone team in its work with its auditor to respond to questions and provide supporting documentation

  • Support the monthly and/or quarterly valuation advisor process

  • Provide analytical and valuation support for property investments, including preparing leasing, operating, capital, and financing analyses

  • Effectively obtain property information from various source systems (MRI, Yardi, etc.) and build data quality mechanisms to ensure integrity of information

  • Manage and maintain robust excel based cash flow models populated by Argus models and/or other data sources

  • Build and maintain effective control processes to monitor and track changes in the assumptions of valuation models

  • Perform other duties as requested

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field

  • Minimum 3 years real estate valuation or underwriting experience

  • Strong financial modeling/data management skills

  • Ability to work with complex excel workbooks

  • Argus Enterprise experience is preferred

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills necessary

  • Must be a motivated self-starter with strong team leadership and problem-solving skills, the aptitude to think independently, and the motivation to work with a team in a rapidly changing environment

  • A strong work ethic and desire to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment

  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Travel required (including to New York City)

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting institutional real estate investors or private equity backed portfolios

  • Prior exposure to multi‑asset or diversified portfolios (industrial, office or net lease preferred)

  • Familiarity with quarterly valuation cycles and recurring management or investor reporting

  • Experience processing and analyzing portfolio datasets, including comfort working with structured data across multiple sources; familiarity with tools such as Power Query, Python, or similar data‑analysis tools

  • Progress toward or completion of CFA, CPA, or MAI (or intent to pursue)

Base Compensation Range:

$95,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

Total Direct Compensation:  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
