JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist - Compensation & Benefits for our Izmir Plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Reponsibilities

  • Prepare all required inputs for the end-to-end payroll process, validate the accuracy of payroll data, and coordinate with the payroll service provider and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of payroll processes by evaluating and supporting the implementation of appropriate technologies, systems, and automation solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable labor and social security legislation, including the Turkish Labor Law No. 4857 and the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510; monitor legislative changes and ensure their integration into payroll and personnel administration processes.
  • Support the preparation of the compensation and benefits budget; monitor and analyze actual and forecasted personnel costs, prepare periodic reports, and contribute to budget revision activities.
  • Having knowledge and experience in market research and benchmark reports.
  • Ensure that all statutory declarations and notifications related to payroll (e.g., Social Security Institution (SSI), Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), etc.) are completed accurately, fully, and on time.
  • Monitor the timely and accurate payment of employee salaries in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure that onboarding, offboarding, personnel data changes, severance and notice compensation calculations, leave administration, overtime, and other payroll-related processes are carried out in compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Manage correspondence, statutory notifications, and reporting processes with governmental authorities and regulatory institutions.
  • Monitor Social Security incentives and other statutory incentive programs, verify eligibility, and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Prepare and share periodic payroll and personnel administration reports, including annual leave, overtime, personnel costs, and payroll analysis, with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective utilization of employee data within HR Information Systems (e.g., Workday, Enibra), and contribute to system enhancement initiatives.
  • Conduct compensation and benefits analyses considering market practices, internal equity, and company policies, and support the sustainable implementation of compensation management processes.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports to support performance management, reward, and compensation processes.
  • Provide operational support for payroll, compensation, employee data, and statutory compliance aspects of labor union processes, contributing to the effective and sustainable management of employee relations.
  • Prepare payroll, personnel administration, and statutory compliance documentation required for SOX, internal audits, and other audit activities, and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Comply with procedures and work instructions in accordance with the IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System requirements; maintain up-to-date HR process documentation and support internal and external audit activities.
  • Ensure that employee personal data is processed, stored, managed, and protected securely and in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and applicable data privacy regulations.

Education and Work Experience Requirements / Eğitim ve İş Deneyimi Gereklilikleri:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll and personnel administration, with solid knowledge of compensation and benefits, industrial relations, core HR processes, and applicable labor legislation.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), such as Workday, Enibra, SAP, and SuccessFactors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, TISAX, and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
