Job Description

For our HQ in Leidschendam, we are looking for a motivated IT Communications & Marketing specialist for our CIO Office team. You will develop and execute IT communication and marketing strategies that promote the IT department’s initiatives, projects, and services. This role aims to enhance the visibility of IT’s contributions, foster positive relationships with stakeholders, and ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across the organisation.

Your role:

  • You develop and implement the IT Communication Strategy and formulate the marketing strategy for IT.

  • You organise and manage the IT group’s communication channels and sites.

  • You organise and host town halls, training sessions, and other meetings.

  • You identify communication stakeholders and determine the necessary communication channels.

  • You support the maintenance of IT organisation charts and SharePoint.

  • You develop and execute IT marketing strategies, including drop-in articles, internal articles, blogs, talking points, webinars, conference presentations, and more.

  • You support Crisis Communication efforts and contribute to the improvement of the IT organisation through feedback analysis.

Your track record:

  • You have a BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or relevant professional experience.

  • You have at least 3-5 years of working experience.

  • You have excellent English language skills both written and oral.

  • You have experience in requirements analysis and process mapping.

  • Ability to think and act beyond process and field boundaries.

  • You possess exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, showcasing strong stakeholder management capabilities.

  • The role requires initiative, creativity, analytical problem-solving, and a degree of conceptual thinking.

  • You work independently with a strong delivery orientation, prioritise the IT organisation’s interests, and promptly escalate issues when necessary.
