About the Role

Join Alcon’s Global Commercial Operations team as a Pricing Strategy & Analytics Intern, where you’ll help enhance visibility into pricing strategy by automating brand ladders—competitive comparison tools that showcase product positioning across key metrics such as list price, margin, and patient cost after rebate. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply data analytics and visualization skills to a high-impact business initiative that supports strategic decision-making across Sales Operations and Pricing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing brand ladder templates and pricing data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define comparison logic and key metrics.
• Automate data inputs and calculations using Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Design a scalable framework for brand ladder automation.
• Build a dynamic dashboard or tool to visualize product positioning.
• Validate tool accuracy using historical and current data.
• Deliver documentation and recommendations for future enhancements.
• Present final tool and strategic insights to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
• Must be pursuing a master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis, visualization, or financial modeling.
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
• Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hrs/week) internship position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience with Alteryx or other automation platforms
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Experience working with pricing, margin, or rebate data is a plus.
• Interest in commercial strategy, healthcare economics, or product positioning.
