As Conviva continues to grow, we are actively looking for highly motivated and talented staff engineers to join our data platform team. You will report to the GM of Conviva China and work with some of the best engineers together in building our next-generation big data platform for handling internet scale data and unlocking the infinite potential of data.

 

What Success Will Look Like:

• Strategic Architecture Design: Responsible for designing and developing the architecture of the next-generation big data platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Technical Innovation: Actively explore and introduce new technologies to drive continuous iteration and upgrade of product technologies.
• Hands-on Involvement: Participate regularly in code and design reviews, drive technical prototype designs, and actively address challenging production issues.
• Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with product, business, and other teams to ensure that technical solutions meet customer business needs.
• Technical Project Team Leadership: Lead high-performance technical project teams, fostering the development of team members' technical skills and capabilities.
• Technology Upgrades: Continuously optimize system architecture, reduce technical costs, and improve system stability.

 

Who You Are & What You've Done:

• Solid Technical Foundation:
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in computer science principles.
  • Proficient in big data technologies like Spark, Flink, Druid, ClickHouse, Hadoop, and Kafka
  • Expertise in real-time data processing and building large-scale query service applications.
  • Familiar cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Rust, Scala, or Golang.
• Extensive Architecture Experience:
  • Over 10 years of software engineering experience, including more than 5 years of experience in SaaS or enterprise software architecture.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles and the ability to design highly available, high-concurrency, scalable systems.
• Exceptional Leadership Skills: Outstanding leadership skills, capable of motivating team members and driving the achievement of team goals.
• Excellent Communication Skills in English: Ability to simplify complex technical issues and communicate efficiently with people in different roles.
• Strong Willingness to Learn: Keep up with industry trends, continuously learn new technologies, and stay ahead in technical knowledge.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to adapt and thrive in a start-up environment, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
