About You
As a Principal Engineer in Creative Content-Marketing Tech, you will play a key role in driving the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our products and solutions. Working with the leadership, you will define and drive delivery of the CreativeContent and Social Media products space. You guide a team of talented engineers, from experimentation, concept to delivery. You will often be involved in heavy lifting of the code in areas where it is most complex.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, conceptualization and development of holistic solutions (aka Platform) to the content ecosystem at Target. The result will be a well-crafted, flexible enterprise platform that significantly enhances agility of Marketing at Target. To do this, you will need to partner across various stakeholders. You will have to influence thought and be ready to evolve your thought based on what you see and hear from them. Lead Architecture Design and Development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance for a futuristic marketing content technology that scales beyond the requirements of business. Lead building a creative content platform, for different asset formats which is ready for dynamic publish across a content delivery network considering security parameters. Defines vision for structure and interactions of the system's dependencies, at both technical and business level, and outlines the integration patterns with appropriate level of abstraction. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability. Champion a culture of quality and excellence within the engineering team. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Drive innovation through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies that enhance our products. Develop whitepapers, patents, contribution to open-source community, attend/present in conferences.
