Job Description
Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (ACT) is a global Fortune 200 company. The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Manager Wet Stock will be a key player on this team that will help oversee entire wetstock management process in respective region, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards and grow F&L globally at ACT.
About the role:
The hired candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Marketing, Merchandising, Global Technology, and Business Units. The role will be responsible for leading the Wet Stock Management function for the designated region (Europe, USA, or Canada), ensuring efficient execution of wet stock operations in alignment with organizational and industry standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage the wet stock analytics team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Oversee the monitoring and analysis of wetstock management.
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of wetstock monitoring systems, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align wetstock monitoring systems, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing overall wetstock management.
Conduct thorough audits to ensure compliance with wet stock management procedures, industry regulations, and best practices.
Drive development and maintenance of advanced reports and dashboards, providing comprehensive insights into wetstock metrics and trends.
Perform reviews and provide feedback for the reporting.
Establish and develop communication with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing overall wetstock management.
Report to BU`s about major faults and issues that don`t follow company established processes.
Qualifications and experience
10+ years of experience within logistics, supply chain, compliance, statistics, finance, engineering, or other related industries.
Work experience in a foreign and multicultural environment.
Higher educational level in management, logistics, engineering, statistics, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree is preferable.
Competencies:
Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights to various stakeholders.
Extensive experience in wet stock management, with a proven track record of success in a managerial or leadership role.
Leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performance team.
Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to evolving industry trends.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to wet stock management.
Personal integrity: promotes and lives the company standard of ethics and values.
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
Long experience within relevant work can compensate for lack of formal education.
