Krakow Alta Video Team team is looking for a software architect who will drive work across camera firmware and Alta Aware (cloud-based video management system) so that cameras can be easily managed, configured and upgraded from the cloud service. You will lead making architectural decisions that will have a direct impact on three cross-functional scrum teams developing camera firmware You will be also responsible for aligning this work with a back-end team by making sure that all APIs are implemented and integrated. By joining the team you will be also involved in designing, implementing, and delivering innovative and compelling features to our product line and actively participate in all stages of development from feature brainstorming through iterative process improvement.

Experience with embedded or cloud products, preferably both.
Experience in making architectural decisions that help cross-functional teams to successfully deliver full stack solutions
Practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software engineering fundamentals
Hands-on experience with C++ (and willingness to learn Go)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work closely with the backend team to ensure that the APIs are properly implemented and integrated
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Communicative English

Experience with media streaming applications
