Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Security Specialist responsible for ensuring the security of the organizations cloud computing environment
- Conduct security audits of cloud assets to meeting compliance standards and requirements
- In-depth experience in cloud security experiences including containers, server less compute or functions but related to information security and vulnerability mgmt. vs infrastructure maintenance or engineering
- Develop and implement security policies/procedures through collaboration with other IT teams to continually enhance the cloud security posture
- Monitor and respond to threats and vulnerabilities on a continuous basis
- Develop security metrics and dashboards to reduce the overall risk profile of the cloud environment
- Assist in incident response activities
- Lead daily security operations activities
- Review information security issues and assign to relevant support group.
Routinely review and plan for remediating application vulnerabilities, missing patches, and application configuration issues. - Provide and drive information security awareness and training.
- Follow and maintain information security standards, procedures & guidelines and process exceptions.
- Conduct analysis of security issues and recommend solutions and review, analyze, and correlate event logs to identify threats.
- Implement and provide evaluation feedback for new or updates to security solutions. Work with internal customers to implement information security solutions.
- Conduct security review of on-premise & Cloud services and recommend solutions.
- Support internal and external assessments and audits. Report information security administration processes and practices violations.
- Monitors contingent workers work quality and provides guidelines in the delivery of project and support services. Adheres to compliance processes and procedures
