The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Manager Cybersecurity 2 to lead a team of Information System Security Professionals. A diverse classified information system security background is required. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Huntsville, AL location. 

 

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: 

 

  • Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for assessing systems and networks within a secure enclave.  
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for managers and new leaders   
  • Identify skills needed and provide training to meet requirements.   
  • Establish and oversee strict program control processes that mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A). This includes process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, security documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.    
  • Lead the implementation of required government policy (i.e., DAAG, JSIG, ICDs) to ensure compliance. Develop process tailoring recommendations and manage the documentation and execution of process activities. 
  • Foster an environment for individual development, teamwork, effective performance management, open communication, financial management, and utilization  
  • Ensure the team follows Northrop Grumman’s policies and procedures, making sure that all information is accurate and complete in support of those policies and procedures  
  • Interact with internal key executives, CIDO Program Management Office and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organization 
  • Ensure all environments stay compliant while all related systems and networks obtain and continuously retain formal accreditation authorizations from the appropriate government agencies.

Basic Qualifications:  

 

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 Years with BS; 5 Years with Masters; 2 Years with PhD . (in lieu of a Bachelors Degree, we will consider an additional 11 years of relevant experience)
  • Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered   

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Active Secret, Top Secret, SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph  
  • ITIL, Agile, CISM, or CISSP certification 
  • Experience managing cybersecurity teams  
  • Experience implementing RMF or other cybersecurity related compliance frameworks

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
