About the Team: The Brand Experience/ID8 team drives powerful and consistent brand experiences across teams, channels, brands, and geos. We ensure strong consumer experiences with our brands at all touch points. We create and protect strong brands and assets, with consistency of message, meaning and voice. We guide and support internal teams and external agencies to ensure the same powerful brand experiences.  

About the Role: The Brand Experience Internship offers an opportunity for a current college or graduate student, or recent grad to work within the Brand Management area to gain valuable work experience through high-visibility, value-add projects to support the strategy, governance, and guidance for Gen’s corporate and consumer brands. Interns also participate in Gen sponsored team building activities, internal team meetings with executives, and end their assignment with a showcase of their projects.  

Assigned projects can include but are not limited to:  

  • Help Brand Management team across brand updates, asset creation, reviews, and projects. 
  • Support the rollout of changes to the visual identity for one of our consumer brands through modifying the brand guide, managing the updates for brand templates and tools, and supporting updates to assets by giving guidance and reviewing changes based on new visual identity for the brand.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on the maintenance and organization of our digital asset management system (called Digital Library) to help enhance the user experience and support filling in gaps where assets are missing. 
  • Work with internal creative team to support work based on team priorities. 
  • Candidate can expect to have a variety of assignments that will include working with different teams to accomplish brand-related goals and also at least one project to own end to end.


Qualifications: 

  • Currently completing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant area of study, Marketing focus preferred 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Organized with a high attention to detail  
  • Be a self-starter who drives progress and results while meeting critical deadlines 
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize deliverables 
  • Be a true team player who works closely and cohesively with others 
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
