What will this role achieve?

The Warehouse Team  Manager are accountable for people, plant, product, quality and process delivery against clearly defined role outputs with a specific responsibility for developing, managing and leading a team of warehouse and production based team member.


What will be your key deliverables?  

  • Responsible for coaching, developing, leading staff and establishing a culture to support all aspects of Lean Manufacturing
  • Responsible for achieving budgeted figures
  • Responsible for planning & prioritising work & ensuring maximum use of resources
  • Responsible for the smooth running & efficiency of machinery
  • Responsible for exercising professional judgement in relation to repair of equipment, whilst maintaining duty of care responsibilities, ensuring quality, quantity & promotion of a safe working environment

Bring your experience!

Essential

  • 2 years experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment working with high volume automated processes
  • Must have experience of successfully managing teams
  • Preferably has Warehouse Management experience but this is secondary to operational experience
  • Will be required to undergo training as a forklift driver if not already a licence holder
  • Will assess the forklift driving competence of future and existing Team Members

Desirable

  • IT literate and confident at learning and using a variety of SAP and Google based systems
