Product Lab helps enterprises de-risk innovation through rapid experimentation, data, and evidence, proving what works before scaling what matters. This role plays a pivotal part in turning that ambition into reality, leading the rhythm of the Lab and ensuring experiments and new solutions move from concept to outcome with clarity and discipline.

From emerging technologies like AI, automation, and IoT to entirely new products, services, and business models, the work spans innovation in all its forms, helping teams understand and apply emerging technology in real, tangible ways. The Lab is where bold ideas are tested, proven, and brought to life at enterprise scale.

This is not traditional delivery. The Lab operates at the edge of innovation, where things are fast-moving, experimental, and sometimes ambiguous. You will build just enough structure to keep momentum, embedding clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and data-led decision-making without slowing down creativity or learning.

You will provide operational and delivery leadership across multiple initiatives while maintaining visibility on scope, budget, and progress

Key Delivery Focus Areas

Your core focus will be across Operational Discipline, Evidence-Led Delivery, and Strategic Value Realisation:

  • Operational Discipline: Maintain the operational rhythms that enable rapid experimentation, facilitating hypothesis framing, supporting the coordination of technical work, and ensuring experiments, workshops, and evidence-gathering activities run smoothly. Provide just enough structure for the team to move at pace, without slipping into full product delivery
  • Evidence-Led Delivery: Embed a data-first approach, ensuring every project is guided by clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and data-informed decisions that shape next steps.
  • Budget & Scope Management: Actively monitor project burn rate and manage high-stakes client relationships from initial concept through to successful delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the key interface, translating complex concepts (like AI/ML) into clear and compelling business communications for internal stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Strategic Partnership: Effectively filter and prioritise incoming requests to protect the technical team's time and focus.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in structured ambiguity, brings rigour without rigidity, and sees every experiment as a chance to learn, prove, and build.

  • Process-Orientated: A demonstrated history of establishing and running operational and delivery processes for complex, iterative projects, with a strong bias toward establishing process and structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong Communicator: Comfortable interacting candidly and transparently across a broad number of stakeholders, from technical teams to business teams and senior leadership.
  • Commercially Minded: An ability to take ownership and contribute to the successful commercial direction of a technical unit, balancing project constraints with protective partnership.
  • Technically Minded (Beneficial): An interest in and ability to speak fluently about the AI/ML and software product lifecycle, including understanding the language, risks, and timelines associated with building solutions.
  • Highly Collaborative: Capable of managing and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally, and fostering a productive, respectful partnership with technical leadership.
