Job Description Summary
Position Objective:
The primary function of the Strategic Seller - Mega Projects is the promotion of the Power of Sunbelt. The Strategic Seller will develop and maximize market share in various Mega Project tiers such as Electric Vehicle and/or Battery Manufacturing and Semiconductor industry for assigned territory, district, and/or region. This will be accomplished by prospecting the territory for new opportunities, developing tailored value propositions and proposals, coordinating with market specific leaders and sellers, delivering capabilities and solution presentations, and building relationships with key decision makers and influencers, both internally and externally. This position is critical in building and maintaining customer relationships then working as a liaison between customers and local/onsite teams and appropriate levels of Sunbelt leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with local/district/regional teams to develop and grow sales strategy for Mega Projects in assigned territory
• Identify Mega Project opportunities within assigned territory via personal prospecting, cold-calling, and attending industry events to increase market share
• Responsible for cross-leveraging and communicating potential and ongoing opportunities across all business segments
• Communicate consistently with district/regional leadership during bidding, negotiating, managing Mega Project opportunities
• Streamline sales processes to create efficiencies to ensure the local team can focus on execution
• Build synergies and communicate regularly across all lines of business within assigned territory to ensure we are working as one team
• Deliver sales capabilities presentations to maximize sales potential and bolster Sunbelt’s reputation as a total solution provider
• Provide sales support, coordinate, and work with strategic sellers to cultivate existing strategic customers in effort to gain a higher proportion of their spend with Sunbelt’s General Tool and Specialty Businesses
• Prepare quarterly deliverables to Senior Leadership on assigned territory
• Organize travel and activities and document efforts in Sunbelt’s CRM system
• Build and manage 120-day forward pipeline and forecast
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• 5-10 years successful sales or operations experience in the equipment rental industry in a regional or large geographical territory
• Professional level knowledge of principles and practices involved in project management, engineered selling, new business development, product marketing and sales, including experience developing territory business plans
• Ability to incorporate Sunbelt’s Specialty Businesses (Industrial Resource Group, Scaffolding, Power & HVAC, Pump Solutions, Climate Control, etc.) into presentations and business solutions
• High energy, entrepreneurial–spirited self-starter and initiative-taker
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Territory management practices must be exceptional
• Ability to travel 40-60%
• Experience selling to all levels of management
• Excellent presentation skills
• Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history
• Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
