Job Description:

Why join us

At Nutreco, our purpose is Feeding the Future through sustainable and innovative practices. As part of the SHV family, Nutreco operates globally through its two business lines, Trouw Nutrition and Skretting, helping customers produce food responsibly and sustainably.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave coverage. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting end-to-end recruitment activities across the EMEA region, partnering with hiring managers and HR stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures, and business functions.

While a significant proportion of hiring activity will be focused on our UK businesses based in Ashbourne and Belfast, the role offers broader regional exposure and the opportunity to work on vacancies across different EMEA markets. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, and help attract top talent that supports our business strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys working in an international environment, navigating different markets, and partnering with diverse teams while making a tangible impact on business growth across the region.

What you'll do

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities and support talent attraction initiatives across the business. In practice, that means:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake meetings through offer management and onboarding coordination

  • Partner with hiring managers across the UK businesses in Ashbourne and Belfast to understand hiring needs and define recruitment strategies

  • Support recruitment activities across other EMEA countries when required

  • Source and engage active and passive candidates through a variety of channels

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders

  • Assess candidates and support objective, data-driven hiring decisions

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

  • Monitor recruitment activity and provide insights through talent acquisition metrics and reporting

  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Services, Compensation & Benefits, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment processes

  • Promote diverse, equitable, and inclusive hiring practices

  • Participate in Talent Acquisition continuous improvement initiatives

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, recruitment best practices, and guidance throughout the recruitment process

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys working independently, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes in an international environment.
You'll also need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ideally within an international or matrix organisation

  • Proven experience recruiting across multiple countries, partnering directly with hiring managers

  • Experience recruiting a variety of professional, technical, and operational roles

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday

  • Fluency in English

  • Key soft skills include strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, business partnership, adaptability, resilience, organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Location & Details

  • Location: United Kingdom

  • Work model: Remote

  • Contract: Fixed term (12 months maternity leave cover)

  • Travel: Very occasional travel to Ashbourne and other EMEA locations may be required

What you’ll receive

  • 25 days of holiday per calendar year based on full-time working hours, plus 8 UK bank holidays

  • Training and development opportunities
