We are looking for a Software Engineer-II to join the Enterprise Integration Services team. You will work with architects, engineers, system owners, product managers and business leaders at multiple levels to design and build highly scalable, flexible, and resilient integrations that address business problems and accelerate “building the road to space”!
As a member of the team you will also contribute to the development of an Integration platform at Blue Origin to empower partner teams to build secure, scalable, world-class integration solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design/Develop/Engineer scalable, observable and sustainable software integration pipelines with the goal of delivering value through data and system integrations.
Dive deep into the data for source and target systems to understand how the integration will deliver business value, map the data and develop the integration.
Collaborate with architects, customers, data owners and engineers to develop and evolve a platform to improve the speed of delivery of integrations.
Apply the latest research and industry trends to build best in class enterprise integrations.
Build solution prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate alternatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years experience in design and development of cloud native solutions, micro-services and backend systems
2+ years experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and scaling distributed systems
1+ years experience in designing/building event-driven and real-time integrations
Hands-on experience in Enterprise Integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc. is a plus
Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go or Rust
Experience with databases, SQL and scripting skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar analytical field.
Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $115,290.00-$161,406.00Other site ranges may differ
