Join us as a CDD In-Life Operations Subject Matter Expert

• Working with a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll be helping us with anti-money laundering (AML) activities
• You’ll be investigating queries, supporting business processes and procedures, and understanding the needs of our customers and the business

• You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from our Edinburgh office 
• We're offering this position for a period of 12 months

What you'll do

Joining our specialist AML team, you’ll be working on Mandatory High Risk Country event driven reviews. You’ll be our subject expert for a range of AML processes for both personal and non personal customers, making sure that the reviews are completed to a high standard and in line with policy requirements. 

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Providing analysts with coaching and feedback, supporting them in their development using coaching techniques and tools
• Training and upskilling new members of your team 
• Collaborating, influencing stakeholders and operating proactively to achieve outcomes 
• Looking for new ideas to improve processes and creating opportunities to work with others

The skills you'll need

You’ll already have RBS International (RBSI) jurisdictional knowledge and experience of working with RBSI associated AML processes and procedures, alongside an awareness of up to date trends, policies and regulations. You’ll also be able to work accurately, to deadlines and with high levels of attention to detail.

We’ll also be looking for you to demonstrate:

• An understanding of the financial services industry and our customers
• Knowledge of our products, processes and banking systems
• Good written and spoken communication skills
