JOB DESCRIPTION:

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of Structural Heart disease.  We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care; a performance threshold that by definition, guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, direct, and control the corporate sales and marketing function so that policies, procedures, and activities meet the group's short and long-term business objectives, comply with regulations and standards, and protect the group's public reputation.

• Contribute to business planning at the executive board level to develop a sales and marketing strategy that is consistent with the group's overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives.

• Establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development and monitor the performance of the organization against these goals.

• Liaise with other senior executives across the organization to ensure that sales and marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall corporate objectives.

• Define the overall sales and marketing organization structure to achieve corporate sales and marketing objectives.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.

• Responsible for overall market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).

• Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.

• Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing).

• Collaborate with diverse teams e.g. marketing, sales, customer service etc.

• Establish and build profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.

• Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

• Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.

  • 15+ years of related leadership in a commercial function in medical devices, preferably Class 3 cardiovascular implants.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing preferred.

  • Strong sales and clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging, also strongly preferred.

  • MBA preferred.

     

The base pay for this position is

$216,700.00 – $433,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
