Job Description:

Administrative Assistant II

Provides primary administrative support for department manager and/or supervisor.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position 
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
  • Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
  • Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  • Intermediate level secretarial skills
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

  • Customer service experience
  • Current and valid Oregon driver’s license
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Secretarial classes/Associates degree preferred
  • Basic Medical Terminology preferred
  • Notary Public preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of secretarial science or equivalent
  • Healthcare office experience preferred
