About Us – PAR-CV

• Located in the Freeman Heart & Vascular Institute

• CV-PAR is a high volume, pre- and post-procedural area for cardiac catheterization lab and cardiovascular operating room patients.

• 14-bay area focusing on pre- and post-procedure patient care.

• Care in this area is delivered by a team of high-quality nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, Nurse Technicians, and Unit Secretary

What You’ll Do 

In conjunction with the medical plan, under the direction of professional RN, participates in the systematic and continual assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; the planning and implementation of appropriate interventions; and the evaluation of effectiveness and adjustment of a plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

Requirements 

Current Missouri Practical Nurse license or current Practical Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
