In our team you will:


 

  • Perform digital forensics and incident response investigations independently, from initial detection through resolution.  

  • Conduct thorough investigations into cybersecurity incidents, applying your expertise to uncover and address the root causes.
  • Utilize advanced forensic tools and techniques to analyze and interpret evidence from compromised systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior DFIR team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills.
  • Adapt to different technical tasks and challenges based on the needs of ongoing investigations, demonstrating versatility and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Apply your technical skills across various aspects of DFIR, including forensic analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to gather information, analyze evidence, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
  • Document investigation processes, findings, and recommendations comprehensively and clearly.
  • Actively contribute to the development and delivery of proactive engagements including threat hunts and Table Top Exercises. 
  • Work as part of the global practice to develop and maintain our service offerings.

As part of the Accenture Security CRR, you will be part of a specialized team to respond to some of the largest and most complex data breaches around the world, as well as conduct cyber threat hunting in some of the most complex business environments, leveraging a variety of tools and Digital Forensic and Incident Response techniques. You will work in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment with a diverse team of talent, in support of one mission – providing expert incident response services to Accenture customers.

We are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of incident response, digital forensics and cyber incident investigation processes
     
  • Strong familiarity with common DFIR toolsets
     
  • Strong DFIR related knowledge of Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux and MacOS operating systems
     
  • Experience of Threat Hunting, on both the endpoint and ideally network
     
  • Ability to identify attacker Tactics, Techniques and procedures (TTPs) and to develop indicators of compromise
     
  • Ability to find and eradicate attackers, improve monitoring and protection capabilities
     
  • Experience in implement dynamic remediation plans for customers in conjunction with incident response engagements
     
  • Understanding of enterprise environments and how they work
     
  • Understanding of common malware types and behaviours and common infection vectors
     
  • Excellent project management and client facing communication skills.
  • Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand. No visa sponsorships are available for this role.

  • Experience with Cloud environments
     
  • Experience with OT and ICS environments
     
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
     
  • Experience of reverse engineering and sandboxing technologies
     
  • Relevant degree in computing/IT
     
  • Security certifications, for example, but not limited to, GREM, GCFE, GCFA, CEH, GCIH
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in  client facing DFIR roles.
