PRIMARY FUNCTION :
To work with sales manager to successfully increase the distribution and achieve sales goal of ADC branded product including FreeStyle Libre products in Retail and Hospital market.
The Sales Specialist reports to Sales Manager.
Assuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned district by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.
MAIN / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Achieve sales objective and maintain consistent contact and provide sales and service to all customer groups within assigned geographic territory
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in Retail and KOLs of the hospitals to create sales opportunity and promote ADC products
• Develop understanding of customer needs to identify sales opportunities
• Increase market share within assigned geographic territory
• Visit assigned retail shops & hospitals on a regular basis to gather updated market trend information and to sell the products to the accounts
• Manage AR for the accounts and handle the issues with the logistic channel partner on bad credit accounts
• Report and analysis of own accounts at the given timing and due
• Applies and communicates Abbott values in all decisions internally and externally
• Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and products at key accounts
• Develop strategy, tactics, and solutions for problems by actively seeking, identifying, analyzing, and monitoring current & future market trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
• Elevate feedback and learning to either the Head of Sales and/or the Marketing
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
• Currently working or experienced as sale rep in Endo therapeutic area
• Minimum of 10 years in sales or marketing in health care
• Excellent understanding of environment relating to the healthcare / retail, pharmaceutical industry
• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
• Prefer nursing background
• Proven record with Strong Abbott performance results in the past
• Demonstrated the strong leadership and good attitude
• Comprehensive industry knowledge and experience in relevant market including university hospitals, general hospitals and key DM clinics.
• Learning agility and passion to take a leadership role in the future
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :
• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
• Prefer nursing background

• The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly whilst paying attention to detail
• Positive and Innovative
• Resilience, to enable to deal with problems and constructive criticism
• Commercial awareness and a willingness to learn
• Strong negotiation skills
