Responsibilities:
Manage financial resources across multiple complex projects and programs
Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to optimize financial performance
Ensure proper control of project accounts through rigorous monitoring and analysis
Conduct in-depth quality reviews of financial activities to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and compliance
Ensure strict adherence to financial and procurement policies and procedures
Provide expert guidance on complex financial issues and strategic financial planning
Develop and implement best practices in financial management and reporting
Lead and mentor financial teams, fostering professional development and excellence
Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals
Serve as a key advisor on financial matters to executive management
Qualifications:
Required:
Secret security clearance, or US citizen able to complete background investigation to obtain required clearance
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field of study
15+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a focus on government contracting
Proven track record of successfully managing financial resources for large-scale, complex projects
Expert knowledge of federal financial regulations, GAAP, and government contracting financial requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in advanced financial management software and tools Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
Desired:
Ph.D. in a relevant field of study
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CGFM
Experience with earned value management systems (EVMS)
Knowledge of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements
Familiarity with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials
Experience in process improvement and implementing financial management best practices

The proposed salary range for this position is:
