We are offering an internship and MS thesis opportunity within the Turbomachinery Engineering team, focused on the analysis, design, and performance assessment of critical rotating equipment used in industrial energy applications.
The selected candidate will support engineering activities related to the mechanical behavior, performance, reliability, and life assessment of turbomachinery components. Depending on the candidate’s background and project needs, the internship may involve analytical modeling, numerical simulations, experimental data interpretation, methodology development, or advanced engineering assessments.
This opportunity provides exposure to real engineering challenges and allows the candidate to contribute to innovative projects supporting energy transition, decarbonization, and sustainable power generation technologies.
You’ll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.
You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Be pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Energy Engineering, or related disciplines
Demonstrate strong academic performance and technical curiosity

Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly.
The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
