Design, develop, test, and release software related to the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) software architecture. Monitor and react to line & IT system performance metrics/indicators. Design and build various support, maintenance, and metrics gathering utilities. Gathering and analyzing data to support automation and customer teams, present data to various groups and levels of management. Define and make suggestions that improve performance and process issues. Participate in meetings, management reviews, and IT group coordination where applicable/necessary. Build, maintain, and manage training and support knowledge material. Provide coordination and action with Major Incident events affecting operations including management of any required postmortems and associated communication. Participate with Micron Worldwide Problem Management (local and/or global). Solve software defects. Participate in a 24x7 support on-call rotation. May telecommute from home part-time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or
in a IT Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position also requires experience in:
1) Object Oriented Programming
2) Software Development Lifecycle
3) Software Testing, Test Automation
4) Software Debugging, Data Manipulation
