Job Description:

About This Role:

The Country Lead is a senior leadership position in one of the company’s most strategic and high‑impact markets globally. This role has full accountability for driving business performance, executing the local strategy, and strengthening the company’s market presence in a priority country.

Acting as the senior representative in the market, the Country Lead will accelerate profitable growth, build and lead high‑performing teams, and develop strong relationships with key customers and partners, while closely aligning with regional and global leadership.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement strategic account plans to nurture long-term relationships with clients and address their critical business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the exceptional delivery of solutions, while maintaining a strong focus on profitable growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key client stakeholders, offering strategic insights and guidance.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the account portfolio.
• Provide leadership and support to account managers and executives, ensuring they meet their objectives.
• Deliver client presentations and reports to showcase the value of our offerings.
• Regularly review and adjust account strategies in response to market dynamics and customer needs.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote our brand.
• Own full country P&L, including revenue growth, margin optimization, forecasting and budget management.
• Drive sustainable and scalable business growth aligned with global objectives.

• Build, lead and scale high‑performing local teams across sales, delivery and operations.
• Foster a strong leadership culture focused on accountability, excellence and collaboration.

• Define and execute the country go‑to‑market strategy, tailoring global offerings to local market needs and industry dynamics.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, managing operational, financial and reputational risks in a complex and dynamic market environment.


 

Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
• Demonstrated success in account leadership roles, consistently meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals and fostering strong client relationships.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, effective communication abilities, and a history of driving business growth.
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
• Proven experience in a general management or business unit leadership role within a complex organization.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of managing scale, complexity and growth.

Other Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Account Executive (CAE) or Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) are a plus.
