About the team and the role:

The Payment Operations Technology division at eBay is in search of a Technical Program Manager who possesses over seven years of experience, including a minimum of three years in Project and/or Product Management.

What you will accomplish:

  • Project Management: Maintain documentation on achievements, timelines & statuses, cross-functional dependencies & timelines, risks/issues/blockers, project health

  • Sprint Planning & Manage delivery: Plan Sprints, Groom Backlog, Jira Hygiene, gather updates and statusing, drive progress & help unblock issues

  • Scrum Meetings: Scrum ceremonies (i.e. daily standups, sprint retrospectives, etc.), Represent the team for Scrum of Scrums, coach & drive team adherence to agile methodology

  • Manage UAT: Schedule & Manage UAT, Go-No Go approval from Business, Report UAT progress. DRive Go-No Go approval from Business

  • Release Management: Plan releases, Obtain release approvals, Send Release Notes

  • Business Readout: Monthly reporting of Project status to partners and business

  • Report Metrics: a) Capacity utilization, b) On-time delivery,   c) Code coverage, d) Bug count, e) Round trip,  f) Product Quality,  e) Automated test coverage

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science or Engineering or related fields. 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management in an Agile environment

  • Demonstrated success as a project or product manager leading complex implementations in a matrixed organization

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Power point

  • Jira experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills and an ability to lead meetings and project discussions; collaboration and skills influencing others are important

  • Organizational knowledge and proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment is highly preferred
