Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are robust and efficient. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to enhance application performance and user experience, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization in your work. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java and Spring Boot. - Build event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming. - Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems. - Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Work closely with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Implement best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have skills: 4–6 years of Java (8/11+) and Spring Boot hands-on experience. - Must have hands-on experience with Apache Kafka. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native services. - Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and microservices environments. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Java Standard Edition. - This position is based at our Gurugram office and mandatory work from client office 3 days a week. - A 15-year full time education is required.
