Position Objective: The Housing Management Specialist II plays a pivotal role in supporting housing providers and members to adhere to state and federal housing regulations and evidence-based practices. Their primary responsibilities include assessing the needs of individuals and families facing homelessness, facilitating access to resources, and ensuring the sustainability of permanent housing solutions. Moreover, they will work closely with the Housing Manager to refine existing housing programs, improve member placement processes, and enhance retention efforts. As a program expert in homeless services, the Housing Management Specialist will provide invaluable guidance and mentorship to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for effective care management and coordination within the team.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or in a healthcare-related field. Experience in non-profit housing services and a strong understanding of Continuum of Care Permanent supportive Housing and Transitional Housing Programs. Knowledge of fair housing, tenant's rights, and SAMHSA evidence-based practices.
Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
