About the Department/Team
This team supports critical operational and technology functions for the Transfer Agent, ensuring stable application performance, efficient data workflows, and high-quality service delivery. The group partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to maintain and improve systems that support core business processes. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to defined procedures are central to the team’s work.
About the Role
This role provides technical support for applications, data processes, and operational workflows supporting the Transfer Agent function. The position focuses on troubleshooting, analysis, and execution of defined procedures while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency. Working under close to moderate supervision, the role supports multiple business functions and escalates complex issues as needed. Rotational on-call support is required, including weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities of the Role
Provide technical support and assistance to the Transfer Agent.
Troubleshoot and support custom applications and third-party vendor software.
Administer defined procedures, conduct basic analyses, and execute tasks within established guidelines.
Support workflow, process changes, and redesign initiatives.
Analyze client and stakeholder needs to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with business functional roles and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Maintain clear, accurate written and verbal communication.
Demonstrate organizational discipline, attention to detail, and adherence to Invesco competencies and values.
Requirements for the Role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
Experience supporting applications, data processes, or operational systems in a structured environment.
Foundational knowledge of SQL, SSIS, PowerShell, Power BI, PowerAutomate, and ServiceNow.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined procedures accurately.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team under close or moderate supervision.
Demonstrated willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop technical and professional skills.
The salary range for this position in Charlottetown is up to $60,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
