Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Engineer II will support data-driven decision-making across the APAC region, with a primary focus on operations at the Jintan Plant. This role is responsible for designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI, integrating data from enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, regional business understanding, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. Additionally, the role includes coordinating ERP and application support activities at the Jintan Plant to ensure smooth operation and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports to support regional and plant-level initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global IT team and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
• Integrate data from ERP systems including Oracle, SAP and other ERPs, as well as cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
• Implement data governance and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and security of all reports.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of existing Power BI solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to business users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events related to data analytics and reporting.
• Coordinate ERP and application support and issue resolution for business systems used at the Jintan Plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
• Deep mastery of Power BI Desktop and Service, including advanced data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M Language), SQL and performance optimization.
• Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultures and regions.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300)
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, or SAP data analysis.
• Experience with other integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica)
• Scripting experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience working in both regional and global IT support environments.
