About your job 
In this Finance Manager role, you lead and develop the finance team for our entity, ensuring strong financial health, compliance and efficient ways of working. The role spans financial control, reporting and process development, and you also contribute actively to the local company board. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead, guide and support the finance team to secure highquality accounting, analysis and reporting 

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local legislation and Sandvik’s financial policies 

  • Manage financial activities including accounting, audit, tax, treasury, credit and collections 

  • Advise management on financial matters, risks and regulatory impacts 

  • Build a trusted finance support function, enabling the organization with user-friendly financial processes and guidance 

  • Drive development of financial processes such as monthly closings, forecasting, investment approvals, internal controls and risk management 

  • Build finance competence through training, onboarding and crossfunctional collaboration 

  • Lead improvement initiatives aimed at automation, standardization and efficiency 

 

Location and flexibility 

The position is based in Sandviken, and we offer a hybrid setup with partly remote work. Some travel within Sweden occurs, and occasional international travel may be included. 

 

About you 
You have solid experience from financial control and accounting, combined with leadership capabilities that allows you to develop both people and processes.  You quickly understand financial structures, feel confident guiding others in financial matters, and are comfortable challenging and driving modernization. Your decisions are grounded in your ability to analyze, evaluate and clearly present financial information.   

 

You bring: 

  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments 

  • Strong IT literacy and an interest in digitalization and automation 

  • A relevant finance education 

  • Proficiency in English, while Swedish is an advantage
