Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of data extraction and transformed data.
• Create, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to review requirements, ensuring full test coverage.
• Execute functional and integration testing to validate web applications, APIs, and services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand product functionality, new features, and resolve issues.
• Identify and log defects with clear and concise documentation, and work with developers to debug and resolve them.
• Track and report on test execution progress, defects, and overall quality, providing input into go/no-go decisions.
• Assist in building basic automated test scripts using Javascript and Cypress/Playwright where needed.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases, scripts, and overall QA strategy to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Continuously seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes, suggesting automation where applicable.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manual and automated testing.
• Participate in daily cross-functional SCRUMs, contributing to sprint planning, bug prioritization, and status reports.
• Identify areas for process improvements and continuously enhance testing methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with company quality standards and best practices in QA.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech Degree) with 2+ years of experience in Manual and device testing and automated functional tests in Javascript/Typescript.
• Programming Proficiency: Preference is Playwright/TypeScript/Javascript/Cypress; experience in API testing and ETL pipeline validation
• Knowledge of JS/TS and Cypress/Selenium for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices.
• Expertise in automating complex headless applications and web applications using complex frameworks.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr is a plus.Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
• Familiarity with software configuration management, release management, and database manipulation like git, Bitbucket, Jenkins etc.
• Highly proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver and manage deadlines in an agile development environment.
• Experience with AWS cloud services to support testing in distributed and scalable environments is a good to have.
