This position supports a Government Intelligence Customer. Personnel on this contract provide health, safety, and related services that directly support the intelligence mission and improve the well-being of the customer's workforce domestically who are operating in a fast moving and high stress environment. LPNs provide nursing care to end-user customers. Provide basic patient care in a medical office working under the supervision of registered nurses, doctors, and other providers.
  • Contributes to the assessment process and completes relevant member screening and assessment activities under the direct clinical supervision of the primary RN Clinical Manager assigned. 

  • Maintains clear communication among the healthcare team.

  • Maintains detailed records of patient health and assists with gathering data for reports.

  • Ensures continuity of care for newly enrolled members.

  • Assists with the authorization and development of prioritized, quantifiable goals and desired outcomes, and promotes the member's ability to self-manage to the greatest extent possible.

  • Assists with caseload management activities and may have primary caseload management responsibilities for non-complex or non-high-risk/ultra-high-risk members. 

  • Assists with care transition activities, internal and external, and preventative health and wellness activities and outreach. 

  • In some situations, may serve as the primary point of contact for the member. Assists and contributes to meeting member needs, managing care and services, and ensuring effective communication among internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to: Magellan staff, members, caregivers, providers and community agencies and supports.

  • Maintains timely, complete and accurate documentation using both hard copy and technology-based solutions in compliance with regulatory accreditation policies and procedures. 

  • All other duties as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Licensed to practice as a practical or vocational nurse in a State or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.

1+ year of experience working in a medical office or hospital setting as a LPN.

Strong clinical abilities, detail oriented, and enthusiasm for a collaborative approach to treatment.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Top Secret with SCI polygraph clearance OR candidates that are willing to go through the process of obtaining the
clearance may be considered.

Salary Maximum:

$75,335

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
