Global Trade Content, Senior Analyst

Join our team and be responsible for the accurate compilation and in-depth understanding of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with a focus on research, verification, data conversion, and quality assurance and a mastery-level knowledge of OSGT Rules Entry structures. 

About the Role: 

In this opportunity as a Global Trade Content, Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Research, interpret, document and apply laws and regulations.
  • Monitor statutes, regulations, legislative activity, court decisions and publications to stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations.
  • Correspond with state and local authorities.
  • Provide recommendations on complicated tax/legal issues.
  • Communicate complicated tax/legal issues in an understandable manner to non-tax professionals.
  • Develop and analyze test cases for tax/legal compliance.
  • Provide guidance to other departments regarding processes and rules.
  • Maintenance and accuracy of all applicable tax/legal information in database.
  • Determine best approach to develop data /guidelines based on analysis of available information.
  • May supervise junior staff.

About You 

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, or a related field. 
  • Possesses exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, excelling in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting trade data at a strategic level.
  • Demonstrates expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and using software tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and databases.
  • Identifies and resolves complex issues, mentors others, and collaborates with global teams to share solutions and methodologies for addressing potential issues.
  • Pursues growth opportunities, leads training initiatives, mentors junior colleagues, and sets standards for professional development across the organization.
  • Exceeds customer expectations by innovating and enhancing experiences; manages complex workloads and ensures timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and accountability, prioritizing tasks effectively while maintaining high accuracy standards; serves as a role model for precision and responsibility.
  • Master communication, conveying complex information effectively; leads by example in team dynamics, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
