Join our new Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team, comprised of dedicated Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists. Together we will play a crucial role in providing specialized pre-hospital (interfacility) care to ensure the safe ground transfer of pediatric patients across Michigan to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
As a member of the team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of pediatric patients, and hybrid roles that support the pediatric and cardiac intensive care unit.
Part time opportunity with variable shifts (nights, weekends)
Pediatric Critical Care experience preferred
Coordination of comprehensive care to ensure continuity of care and continuation of services
Ensures that operations are in compliance with professional standards, applicable laws, accreditation, compliance/regulatory requirements and that organizational goals are being followed. Practices in accordance with the Michigan Public Health Code.
Delivers care in a manner that is culturally sensitive and preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Acts as a patient advocate, crossing multidisciplinary lines to meet patient needs
Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to other members of the health care team within and outside Corewell Health. Acts as a consult in area of expertise.

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner:
Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role
Experience as a Nurse Practitioner
