Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in infrastructure security vulnerability management operations to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure security vulnerability management operations. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks. - Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures. - Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and respond accordingly. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities. - Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new systems and applications. - Provide guidance and support to other teams on security best practices. - Conduct security awareness training for employees. - Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with network security technologies. - Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices. - Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys. - Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. - Familiarity with incident response and forensic investigation. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A BE BTECH MTECH is required.
