Job Description:

The Production Operator is responsible for performing assigned manufacturing tasks in accordance with established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety requirements. The role supports daily production goals by safely operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring product quality in a controlled manufacturing or cleanroom environment.

  • Operate production equipment, tools, and fixtures in accordance with approved SOPs and work instructions.
  • Execute assigned manufacturing processes such as loading/unloading, inspection, packaging, or process monitoring.
  • Meet daily output, yield, and quality targets set by production management.
  • Follow proper material handling and lot tracking procedures to ensure traceability.
  • Perform in‑process checks and visual inspections based on quality standards.
  • Accurately document production data, inspection results, and deviations as required.
  • Identify, report, and contain abnormal conditions, defects, or process issues.
  • Comply with quality systems and customer requirements affecting product quality.
  • Complete production records, checklists, and forms accurately and on time.
  • Participate in audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
  • Follow company safety policies and support environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to cleanroom protocols.
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Technical / Vocational Course Graduate in any of the following fields: Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology
  • Associate degree (2‑year course) related to: Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and cleanroom practices.
  • Strong experience with CSP or advanced packaging tools is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team‑oriented with good communication and cooperation skills.
  • Ability to work under time and productivity targets.
  • Basic training or certification in:
    • Semiconductor or electronics manufacturing
    • Cleanroom operations
    • Equipment operation or basic machine troubleshooting
    • ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) awareness
    • 5S, Lean, or basic quality systems
