Leidos is hiring for a Warehouse Specialist in Edgewood, MD! The Warehouse Specialist serves as a member of the Program Management team, reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager in support of the US Army Common Hardware Systems – 6th Generation (CHS-6) contract.

CHS-6 is a recently awarded US Army IDIQ contract with a ceiling value of $7.9B over 10-years. Come join our new program as Leidos modernizes how the US Military procures and distributes their C5ISR fielded equipment!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Track incoming materials for inventory; working with quality control, purchasing and planning to ensure components flow and visibility to all involved.
  • Operate a forklift and pallet jack (Leidos will provide training and certification).
  • Complete goods receipt of material against purchase orders.
  • Prepare and ship completed kits.
  • Support property inventory and management functions must be able to operate computer equipment and customized software for equipment tracking.
  • Assist with operations of a supply room to include stocking shelves, inventorying, and shopping for resupply items.
  • Demonstrate willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 5+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
  • Forklift and pallet jack training and certification.
  • Understanding of commercial and DOD packaging requirements.
  • Assist with operations of a supply room to include stocking shelves and inventorying.
  • Reconcile inventory data for tracking, monitoring and shipping. 
  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Graduate of a 2-year technical school.
  • Strong background in IT equipment & Defense contracting.
  • Knowledge of military supply/property management policies and procedures.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00
