What You Will Do
Join Stryker and play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing medical technologies to patients around the world. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment where quality, precision, and teamwork directly impact patient outcomes. - Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing and assembly equipment, including robotic assembly machines, to produce finished medical products.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to meet defined specifications and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings, load materials, and remove finished products to maintain continuous production flow.
- Inspect products against drawings and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with quality and tolerance requirements.
- Record production data, measurements, and time accurately using approved manufacturing and quality systems.
- Track production efficiency and scrap rates, escalating issues to the appropriate teams to support performance targets.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment operating safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in alignment with regulatory and safety requirements.
What you need:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in Spanish.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Training or experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, or vision systems.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or technical drawings.
