We are looking for a Service Technician to strengthen our service organization supporting industrial heat pump systems across Europe. In this role, you will work hands-on with complex refrigeration and electromechanical systems, supporting customers on-site and remotely throughout the full lifecycle of our products.

The role is based in Overath with a hybrid working model, requiring regular on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Performing service and maintenance work at customer sites across Europe.

  • Performing commissioning activities at customer premises.

  • Providing remote maintenance and telephone support to customers.

  • Training customers on installed systems.

  • Assisting in the creation of technical training materials.

  • Supporting acceptance tests and trials on the heat pump test bench.

  • Supporting production during the construction of heat pumps.

  • Assisting in the ongoing development and improvement of products.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed training in refrigeration technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical field.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (more than 50%, primarily within Europe)

  • Fluent English and good German language skills.

  • Valid Class B driver’s license.

  • Strong motivation to learn and continuously develop technical skills.

  • Solution-oriented, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Desire to make a real impact through your work.

  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time throughout Europe.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Refrigeration systems certification (or willingness to obtain it; training of up to 4 weeks is fully funded).

  • Previous service or commissioning experience in industrial environments.

  • Experience working with large customers (e.g. global industrial groups) as well as smaller specialized companies.
