Job Description: Camping World is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers in delivering scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about mentoring teams while building robust enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management

  • Oversee the development and deployment of Salesforce solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Guide and enforce best practices around Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, and version control (e.g., Git)

  • Champion CI/CD and automated testing practices using tools like Salesforce DX and Gearset

  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical architects to translate functional requirements into technical implementations

  • Own technical delivery timelines, sprint planning, and engineering KPIs (velocity, code quality, etc.)

  • Maintain a high bar for technical excellence and code quality across the team

  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data governance, and performance guidelines

  • Continuously improve development processes, standards, and tooling to drive engineering efficiency and quality

Qualifications Required:

  • 7+ years of overall Salesforce development experience

  • 4+ years of engineering leadership or management experience

  • Proven expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and integrations (REST/SOAP)

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security models

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (specifically Jira and Confluence)

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

Preferred:

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect)

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Gearset)

  • Experience implementing and/or working with CI/CD pipelines and release management strategies

  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams

  • Familiarity with Agile SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, or large-scale Salesforce programs KPIs & Metrics You’ll Influence

  • Deployment success rate & release frequency

Pay Range:

$124,900.00-$182,100.00 Annual
