The Basics:

This is an opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a career in B2B marketing, working with a friendly and experienced group of enterprise-grade marketers in the IT SaaS marketplace. You might consider this an entry-level marketing role as you get to grips with the basics of business-to-business marketing, on-site customer and prospect event support, administrative tasks, as needed. You will be asked to speak to and email employees, customers, prospects, and partners. You will be working as part of the Canada marketing team and will have the chance to work on existing projects as well as develop your own. 

What you’ll do:

Be involved in event planning: 

  • Research new vendors and 3rd-party conferences 
  • Onboard new vendors by following our internal processes in Coupa 
  • Work with vendors on deliverables (contracts, data submission) 
  • Create and submit program documentation such as budget justifications 
  • Build & test programs in our marketing automation platform Marketo 
  • Maintenance of Marketing calendars 
  • Sales enablement (persona/target audience mapping, email templates) 

Be involved in event execution: 

  • Order swag, create event materials, and manage collateral shipping requests 
  • Data acquisition - contact sourcing with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) 
  • On-site event logistics support (Greater Toronto Area) 
  • Managing email follow-up & meeting maker incentives 
  • Contact list import to database via Excel data entry 
  • Tracking results and ROI measurement in Salesforce & PowerBI 

Possible Special Projects: 

  • Devise social media strategy for key industries 
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on new public-facing assets for Canada 
  • Build library of internal bilingual assets for Sales & SDRs (email templates, call scripts, battlecards) 
  • Additional assignments as deemed beneficial to the organization

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills! 
  • Comfortable asking questions, and talking to people/helping them resolve issues 
  • Demonstrates resilience and flexibility - We work in a fast-paced and data-driven environment so the candidate must be able to handle this 
  • An independent worker with a positive attitude and an interest in learning new technology 
  • Working toward a BA or BS in marketing, communications, advertising or related field - ideally with a 3.5+ GPA
  • Available to work full-time from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
  • Graduating Spring 2026 or Fall 2025
