Job Title: Associate - Risk & Control Enablement - CBA India

Location:  Bangalore

Business & Team: Technology Chief Controls Office, CBA India

Impact & contribution

  • Contribute to various aspects of risk management of CBA (Commonwealth Bank of Australia) Group based on need and priority
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of controls and process maps
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements.
  • Support the design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of common templates, data sets, analysis, and information management
  • Responsible for data quality in/maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and contribute to the monthly management reporting
  • Responsible for capturing risks in the Risk Profile (RCSA (Risk and Controls Self-Assessment

Essential Skills

  • All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discusses and act on current and future risks
  • 0 - 1 years’ experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience.
  • the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems
  • Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks would be advantageous
  • Understanding of the Group definition of Control

Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Commerce or Science
  • Technology related certifications will be favourable
