The Strategy, Technology and Operations team is part of the broader Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) team. It is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the MCA strategy, technology and operations of the function.
We are responsible for evaluation, implementation and management of MCA’s technology systems, processes and opportunities to increase speed to market, enhance customer experience, improve business performance, reduce risk and deliver operational excellence.
As part of the Salesforce Technology chapter, you will focus on defining and leading the strategic vision and roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to achieve customer and business value.
You will report directly into the Chapter Lead – Salesforce Technology
Do work that matters:
As Product Owner you will provide critical support in achieving business, productivity and customer satisfaction objectives.
You will be the primary contact for all SFMC related activities across CBA including business engagement for all product enquiries, product information and escalations.
By building strong relationships with stakeholders from multiple disciplines including Marketing, Data, Risk, Technology, 3rd Party Supplier Partners and end users you will:
Define, drive and deliver the SFMC product vision and strategy, aligned to Business needs
Oversee end-to-end delivery of key SFMC related initiatives aligned to MCA’s strategy
Identify and manage SFMC related Continuous Improvement and Risk items
In any given week, you will:
Own and facilitate collaboration with business and technology to define the SFMC product vision, goals and roadmap to ensure better business outcomes
Effectively communicate & understand requirements to stakeholders, manage conflicts, issues and risks to optimise the solution and ensure stakeholders remain in agreement on scope
Drive project discovery and inception to ensure alignment of product strategy
Embed Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices in the team
Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions
Help co-ordinate change for the business to ensure release teams are ready
Identify, articulate and manage risks across streams of work
Partner with the Salesforce Centre of Excellence and service management teams
Be accountable for ensuring all work delivered meets the desired outcomes
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Strong prior experience as Product Owner to drive, lead and manage stakeholders from multiple disciplines to deliver strategic solutions in an agile environment
Knowledge of marketing and data driven campaign activity, process and procedures (preferred)
Demonstrated high level of resilience and personal integrity, with strong interpersonal, collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills in a complex environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clear and actionable requirements
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and thought leadership skills
Proven themselves as a proactive self-starter who takes ownership and accountability to drive toward an optimal outcome delivered
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification (Highly desirable)
