Essential Functions/Key Deliverables 

  • Organizes, monitors, and maintains the inventory to ensure smooth operations, including obtaining and selecting vendor quotes, following up and receiving purchase orders, and maintaining computer-based logs and records.
  • Maintains inventory cycle counts on an ongoing basis to ensure accurate and complete records.
  • Assist plant personnel with issuing spare parts and maintaining spare parts logs to ensure accurate and complete records and to meet internal customer needs.
  • Develop Min Max levels for all recommended spare parts.
  • Performs other related and assigned duties, as necessary.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a spare parts / stockroom role ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – SAP experience helpful.
