Job Description:

Position Summary

The SDVM Sr.Manager will lead contractual management for CoreLogic’s tier-1 vendors with a focus on large outsourcing engagements. The scope of contractual vendor management covers several functions as outlined below:

Contract lifecycle management (initial contract, amendments, extensions) Contract change management and contractual issue escalations End-of-contract term management and vendor off boarding

This role is accountable for cultivating and strengthening collaborative working relationships with senior executives, operational leadership, and process owners from CoreLogic and vendor organizations across geographies and functional lines. This role will be the primary SDVM point of contact for various contract-related inquires, requests, and escalations from in-scope CoreLogic BUs and vendors. The Sr.Manager must be skilled at influencing decisions and shaping outcomes as an interest-based negotiator and trusted advisor.

In addition, the Sr.Manager will be a contributor to the design and implementation of CoreLogic’s overall vendor strategy, which includes various projects to establish, remediate, terminate, and/or transition vendor relationships.     

Job Duties

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Assist in development of primary contracts including MSA, Service Delivery Contracts, Work Orders; establish complete understanding of the critical T&Cs; support negotiations targeting CoreLogic-favorable contractual arrangements Work closely with Legal and Business Unit(s) to assure amendments and extensions are drafted, negotiated, reviewed and approved timely and comprehensively
  • Facilitate validation and execution process for short-term contractual arrangements using Work Order commercial construct

Contract Change Management

  • Assist in identifying changes to the existing contracts, negotiate CoreLogic preferred agreement around these changes and, working closely with vendors, develop Change Requests or Amendments to the contract
  • Assist in annual contract reviews, and annual price adjustment (COLA, productivity improvements, etc)
  • Act as the first point of escalation for issues and disputes for contractual interpretations; engage Legal and subject-matter experts as needed

End-of-contract term management and vendor offboarding

  • Proactively develop action plan for end of term of each vendor contract, considering all potential options (extension, repatriation of services, re-bid, transition of scope to another vendor, etc)
  • Arrange for timely development and issuance of termination notifications and associated contractual artifacts
  • Oversee entire spectrum of disengagement activities, including contractual, operational, legal and InfoSec requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business or related field is required 
  • 5+ years of experience in legal, vendor management, outsourcing management, operations management, and/or program management in a global context
  • Stakeholder relationship management experience; proven track record establishing a trusted advisor relationship with customers/business partners
  • Advanced critical reasoning/thinking ability, understanding cause-effect implications, as well as worst/best case scenarios
  • Strong negotiations skills, ability to influence others 
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project management skills
  • Strong ability to engage at all levels across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Strong ability to work effectively across functions, business units, cultures, and time-zones
  • A sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with the capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands
  • Solid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High degree of comfort acting as a central point of contact and first point of escalation for issues, disputes, and requests
  • Deep understanding of contractual fundamentals
  • Must be able to think and plan strategically and globally; yet possess a detail-oriented, pragmatic management approach
  • Self-directed and results-oriented; strong bias for execution
  • Stature, passion and adeptness to have an immediate impact
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to manage and drive change
