Overview:

2020 Companies is hiring a seasonal Shift Manager for Intel’s Pop-Up Store to lead the team, drive customer engagement, and ensure seamless operations!

We’re looking for a seasonal Shift Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Intel Experience Pop-Up Store in NYC. In this role, you’ll manage a team of Intel Promoters, oversee interactive technology demonstrations, and act as the key point of contact for Intel leadership and store management. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on customer engagement, operational excellence, and team motivation.

  • October 20, 2025 – November 30, 2025
  • Monday–Sunday availability, including holidays as needed
  • Primarily 11:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • $42 per hour + monthly incentive bonus
  • Must be available Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday

Job Description:

  • Manage daily operations of the pop-up store
  • Lead, coach, and motivate Intel Promoters to meet engagement and sales goals
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Intel leadership and store management
  • Monitor floor activity, customer traffic, and staffing needs to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle escalations and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all team reporting requirements
  • Create a high-energy, interactive environment for customers and employees
  • Manage schedules and breaks to ensure full coverage

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • 2+ years of retail or sales management experience, preferably in consumer electronics or events
  • Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
  • Strong tech interest and ability to learn Intel product features quickly
  • Smartphone and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
