GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the site designated leader, provides coordination of daily operations and acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assists with daily schedules of staff and patient to ensure efficient and safe patient flow. Supports staff in acquisition of optimal images. Assist leadership when need to ensure employees perform necessary quality assurance and quality control on all equipment. Helps with the monitoring of equipment for optimal functionality and takes appropriate corrective action for failures. Demonstrates leadership and conflict resolution abilities through effective problem solving. Assists leadership with requested tasks. Help assists in the interview process/candidate selection, in training and monitoring new staff/students. Accurately and efficiently uses hospital computer systems for verifying orders, viewing schedules and sending information to PAC’s. Assumes higher level responsibilities in the absence of lead/supervisor. Uses effective inter/intra-departmental communication and participates with medical staff, management, technical and support staff.STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
