A Day in the Life

Are you ready to manage credit and collections activities for key and strategic accounts in the Medtronic Benelux and DACH regions?

The key focus of this role is to manage credit and collections activities for key and strategic accounts in the Medtronic Benelux and DACH regions, with the goal of maintaining and reducing daily sales outstanding (DSO). You will handle escalations and specific cases transferred from the Credit Services teams based in our BPO offices in Warsaw and Bangalore and work closely with our CSB team in Prague. You will analyze and drive process improvements and build excellent relationships with customers and the sales force to facilitate change management within the overall credit and collection function.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Key account management and strategic collection management
• Drive DSO improvement and maintain a strong analysis of assigned customer A/R and KPIs.
• Proactively arrange customer visits to enhance relationships and implement
• Manage critical customer escalations and disputed invoices with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, BPO, and CBS teams to align payment and credit terms.
• Manage blocked orders, held accounts, bankruptcy procedures, legal actions, and payment plans.
• Ensure accurate credit data and resolve payment issues.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• At least a Bachelors degree
• Fluent Dutch speaker, fluent with German (preferred not a must)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Significant credit management experience
• SAP experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Customer focus, experience of customer facing and visits
• Excellent interpersonal skills
